Mika Singh and Falguni Pathak Take the KBC Hot Seat
Mika Singh and Falguni Pathak took the KBC hot seat. What aired, how outlets reported it, and the episode date that Sony has not confirmed.
Singers Mika Singh and Falguni Pathak appeared together on Kaun Banega Crorepati 18, and a promo showed host Amitabh Bachchan reciting a famous Agneepath line in Punjabi and Gujarati at their request. The Times of India and Business Upturn reported the appearance in mid-October.
How the appearance was announced
Business Upturn reports that Mika Singh posted a reel from the KBC set on Instagram on Oct. 13. His caption called Bachchan "The Superstar of the Millennium," himself "Rock Star Mika Singh" and Pathak "the Queen of Dandiya." The post did not give a telecast date. Business Upturn calls Pathak the Dandiya Queen, and the Times of India calls her the Garba Queen.
A listing on the streaming tracker Simkl, found through a search, places the episode as number 50 of Season 18, titled "Mika Singh And Falguni Pathak Take The Hot Seat," with an Oct. 16 airing. We treat that date as likely but not confirmed by Sony.
The Agneepath moment
The Times of India reported on Oct. 14 that the makers released a promo from the episode. In it, Mika asked Bachchan to say the famous dialogue from Agneepath in Punjabi, and Bachchan did so, with what the paper calls remarkable fluency. Pathak then asked for the same lines in Gujarati, and he obliged again.
The dialogue the paper refers to begins "Vijay Dinanath Chauhan." Agneepath was released in 1990, directed by Mukul S. Anand, with Bachchan as Vijay Deenanath Chauhan. The cast also included Mithun Chakraborty, Madhavi, Neelam Kothari, Danny Denzongpa and Rohini Hattangadi, according to the Times of India.
Another anecdote
Amar Ujala's Hindi headline, dated Oct. 18, says Bachchan told a story on the show about a big piano that Mika Singh had sent to his house. We have only seen the headline and a search summary and have not read the article, so we are not repeating details.
The season so far
KBC Season 18 premiered on Aug. 10, 2026, and airs Monday to Friday at 9 p.m. on Sony Entertainment Television and Sony LIV, Business Upturn reports. A tournament edition, Champions vs Champions, is due to start on Oct. 19.
Why the clip travelled
The appeal is simple. The line is one of the best-known in Hindi cinema, and hearing its star deliver it in two other languages is the kind of moment that circulates in short clips. Nothing about it involves a claim that needs checking beyond what the promo shows.

We could not confirm what Mika Singh or Pathak played for or won on the hot seat, because the coverage does not say.
